ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Interior called on all UAE nationals, residents, GCC
nationals and individuals who hold an entry visa from the border port to
register for the Electronic Ports’ project “E-Gate service”. Registration begins
on July 28, at the Bawabat Al Sharq Center in Bani Yass.
Major Mohammad Ahmed Al Zaabi, Director of the E-Port Project, indicated that as
per the Ministry of Interior’s plan, registration will continue at the
aforementioned centre until Aug. 1st. Moreover, he noted that the media campaign
which calls on members of the public to register for the project will resume on
the first working day after Eid Al Fitr on Aug. 18 at Delma Mall. Registration
will then move to Al Ain, and the related schedules will be announced at a later
date.
Major Mohammad
Al Zaabi said that the registration procedure for the E-Port Project is free
of charge, and that for “those wishing to register should bring their
passports, the procedure does not exceed 20 seconds,” he added.
