Search Guide for the Gulf Legislation Website
* Basic Search
1- Enter the required keyword in the “Search” box
2- Select the required country
3- Click on the “Search” button
Note: All legislation with the relevant keyword that was entered will appear
* Advanced Search
For Saudi Arabia
1- Enter the required keyword in the “Search word” box
2- Enter the number of the legislation in the “Legislation NO.” box
3- Enter the year / month / day of the required legislation in the “Hijri Date”
box
4- Click on the “Search” button
Note: A more accurate and defined search will appear
For Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar
1- Enter the required keyword in the “Search word” box
2- Enter the number of the legislation in the “Legislation NO.” box
3- Select the year of the required legislation from the “Year” box; A drop-down
list will appear in which you can select the required year
4- In the “Release date” box a drop-down colander will appear in which you can
select the release date of the required legislation
You can select an anticipated period of which the legislation was issued by
entering a date in the “From” box and the “To” box for ex: if you are searching
for a legislation that was issued in 2018 then you should choose the following
dates:
From: 1/1/2018
To: 31/12/2018
* Searching by Subject
1- Click on “Legislations” as shown below
2- Select the country folder
For Emirates select the required emirate folder
3- Select the classification folder of the required legislation
All legislation of the classification in the country selected will appear
Note: You can use a search engine once you enter in the required classification
folder by entering the legislation number or keyword or both
