120 Saudi govt bodies in digital training

Saudi Arabia: Staff working for 120 Saudi government bodies have received training on how to improve the quality of digital content and website rankings on search engines.

Five workshops, held over three months, were organized by the Saudi Digital Government Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, as part of Vision 2030 efforts to develop digitization in the Kingdom.

The training was specifically aimed at enhancing the technical and quality standards of website pages, adopting correct search engine optimization practices, and boosting the number of visits to government websites.

Saudi Arabia is among the top 10 countries globally for digital literacy, according to a report from the World Economic Forum in December 2020.

The DGA is responsible for all matters related to the digital government of Saudi Arabia and the development of the digital infrastructure of government entities.

The authority aimed at improving the efficiency of websites and online portals, enhancing the development and marketing of websites and digital content, and organizing the work of the digital government.

It is also playing an important role in issuing measurements, indicators, tools, and reports to measure government agencies’ performance.
