Mohammed launches his children’s book
During his visit to the School of Research Science in Dubai to launch the ‘Arab
Reading Challenge’, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, surprised the
assembled students when he launched his children’s book ‘Two Heroic Leaders’.
The book tells the story of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid and their dream to
build a beautiful country where children live in peace. ‘Arab Reading Challenge’
is Sheikh Mohammed’s latest initiative aimed at encouraging Arab children to
read 50 million books during their academic year.
Addressing the children, Sheikh Mohammed introduced his book in a simple and
interesting way. He told them about the two heroes and their big dream to build
a country. He also spoke about how hard work and dedication eventually pays off.
At the end of the story, Sheikh Mohammed told the children that the two heroes’
wish is that the children will protect this country and pursue their dreams, as
dreams are the start of any achievement.
